Provide a safe and healthy working environment by identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing effective control measures in line with the hierarchy of controls.
Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, including the Factories Act, NESREA regulations, NUPRC/DPR guidelines, FRSC requirements, and relevant fire safety codes.
Meet and continually improve upon the requirements of ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015 where applicable to HSE processes.
Prevent pollution and minimize environmental impacts through responsible waste management, spill prevention, resource conservation, and sustainable operational practices.
Ensure that all employees and contractors are competent, trained, and empowered to carry out their duties safely, including the authority to stop work where unsafe conditions exist.
Promote active consultation, communication, and participation of workers in all HSE matters.
Maintain effective emergency preparedness and response capabilities to mitigate the impact of incidents.
Monitor, measure, audit, and review HSE performance regularly to drive continual improvement.
